Hooper car 640, 641, 642, 644, 645, 646 and 648 were heavy damaged at the serious accident on the railroad in September 3, 2006. All cars were out of order. At May 2009, car 645 extremely damaged still sit on the ground at Skagway shops. All other cars were moved out. Only car 643 and 647 are still in working condition.

January 2013, the following cars returned from Sygnet Rail Llc. with some modification and repair from their previous accident back in 2006.
