Werner Grundmann and one of his Bombarider
Another Werner Grundmann special. He build 4 Bombardier 111 class engines. Right now, one of the four is already painted in the blue colors like 114 looked when the engine arrived at Skagway. Werner Grundmann Image 2013.
GE 90 in large scale

Scratch built GE 90 in 1:19 scale
The locomotive is built to the plan supplied by C.E. Mulvihill of Mulvities Industries, Skagway, but scaled to 1:19 making it 21 inches long and scale with 32mm gauge track which is common in the UK. The locomotive is constructed almost entirely from plywood and is powered by four 12v motors on the leading and trailing axles of each truck, running from an on-board NiMh battery, and is radio controlled. The thunderbird icon was photographed from the front of one of the full size locomotives at Skagway and then reduced and printed on to transfer paper back in England for attaching to the model. Model by Colin Davis of England.
