708 Box Car was Wash & Shower Car (1973)
Steve Hauff took the image of the ex. C&S box car, used as wash and shower car in 1973. The car was still in the old boxcar red colors. Please note the two stoves inside. They were used to have hot water for the employees. It could be that this car was used after the roundhouse fire to support the railroad men with a place where they may take a shower. But this is only a guessing.
